The Amen Clinic for Behavioral Medicine is a private medical clinic which specializes in innovative diagnosis and treatment for a wide variety of neuropsychiatric, behavioral and learning problems for children, teenagers and adults. Established in 1989 by Daniel G. Amen, M.D., the center has a national reputation for evaluating and treating Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and related problems. Other psychiatric disorders such as depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, anxiety, aggressiveness, school failure, marital conflicts and parent-child problems are also evaluated and treated. The Amen Clinic is well known for its innovative work with brain SPECT imaging.
